Ever since I've been a little girl, I've been into the idea of love. Finding it, watching it, and having it for myself. I love the candy and roses too, but I love love. It's magical when you truly find that special person. My mom and dad have always left me little notes and chocolates and I still get them today. They're adorable and so in love. (Can we say #goals?) For so long, I watched my parent's love grow and grow. They've been married forever and love each other more everyday. It's disgustingly cute, especially when they stroll down memory lane. I wanted a love like theirs. I wanted to be obnoxiously cute with someone.
As we all know by know, I found it (awhile ago). Someone I could be disgustingly cute with. About damn time.
This year I'm lucky to be able to celebrate Valentine's Day with my boyfriend Scott. I think we are going to boycott the restaurant scene and have a romantic night at home. Cook a meal together. Sit in the candlelight. Laugh. Be real. (Although I do wish we were away on a tropical vacation...babe, if you're reading this...feel free to whisk me away. Seriously.).
We will be going out this weekend to celebrate my birthday so I will still get my date night!
Happy Valentine's Day loves ♥
