Happy Monday ya'll!! You probably don't know this, but I switched up my skin care routine about 8 weeks ago. I noticed that my skin was oily and my makeup was melting off of my face. My skin didn't feel as healthy as it once had, so I knew I had to make a change. I spoke with my mom, who has this beautiful glow to her skin. I sat down and asked what products she loved for her skin, and what she thought I should try. (I also did some serious research online and with people in the stores).
Finally, I decided that I was going to try Clinique. I had used Clinique products when I was a teenager, as my dad worked in the fashion industry and was always bringing home freebies.
A few things that were a must for me? Shrinking my pores, wrinkles, and tightening up my skin's elasticity. I spoke with a young woman at the Clinique counter and she really helped me out! She even gave me some samples to try out.
Below, I will tell you about the products I use and a little bit about them!!
First, I will use the Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm if I am wearing makeup. It is ahh-mazing!! My makeup melts off my face, in a healthy way. I then will wash my face with the extra mild Liquid Facial Soap.
When I get out of the shower or after I wash with the Liquid Facial Soap, I grab a cotten pad and use the Facial Clarifying Lotion #2 Toner. This makes me feel so clean and refreshed! It does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Then, I will use the Pore Refining Solutions Serum, and let me tell you, my pores are looking much smaller! Thank the Lord!!
I let my face air dry for about 30 seconds and will then put a drop of the Repairwear Laser Focus Serum that helps with wrinkles. Make sure to do this before you moisturize!
Wait about 5-10 minutes....and finally, I will rub in my moisturizer. I am currently using the Repairwear Uplifting Firm Cream that helps tighten the skin back up. It also helps rebuild elasticity and firmness, as well as helps visibly smooth out those laugh lines.
It sounds like a lot, but it honestly takes me 10 minutes tops from start to finish! In between serums, I am usually doing my hair, or checking instagram. My skin feels so smooth and I am happy with the results.
What products do you use? Do you recommend them, why??
