This month has been CRAZY! I have been traveling non-stop and I love every second of it. Well, I don't like the long drives or flights, but I love it once I'm there. Anywayyy, Scotty and I were talking on our drive home from Vermont the other day (post on that trip coming soon!) and we realized that we have been away EVERY WEEKEND this month!! That's wild!
We have seen and done so much in a short amount of time and loved every second of it. From city trips with friends, to exploring Ontario together, to jet skiing at the lake, we have had a great month. That being said, we're both wiped out. My body has been feeling more sluggish and I know it's from going non-stop. I'm grateful for this upcoming weekend because I can finally RELAX!
Well...I think it's safe to say that this year has been one of the most stressful for me. My full time (teaching) job was chaotic and stressful and I felt that I couldn't give or get 100% from myself or my students.
Needless to say, when summer vacay rolled around, I was dancing out the door! (Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I needed a BREAK). However, I was slammed with graduation parties, weddings, and travel plans. I was exhausted and stressed. And yet here I was, on vacation! After feeling like I hit a speed bump going 100mph, I decided (or life decided for me) that I needed to take a mental break. I need to breathe and relax. I needed to find balance within myself.
